It’s not Kiara Advani who will be cast opposite Mahesh Babu in his next movie, Sarkaaru Vaari Paata.
It is Keerthy Suresh.
The National Award-winning actress, who has been riding high after her brilliant performance in Mahanati, recently opted out of her Hindi debut film, Amit Sharma’s Maidaan, opposite Ajay Devgn.
“Mahesh Babu’s next film doesn’t require just a pretty face opposite him,” a source tells Subhash K Jha. “Hence, names like Pooja Hegde and Kiara Advani are out.”
“Keerthy, with her proven talent, is being finalised for Sarkaaru Vaari Paata. This film needs a performer, not a glamour prop.”
The film will be directed by Parashuram, who directed Vijay Deverakonda in Geetha Govindham.
