Corona: This industrialist donated 100 crores to PM Relief Fund

To help fight the coronavirus, a new donation of Rs 100 crore has come to the PM-CARES Fund. The donation was done by Radhakrishna Damani, promoter of Avenue Supermarts. Same, Damani made this contribution through his group company Bright Star Investments. Apart from this, public sector steel companies have contributed a total of Rs 267.55 crore to the PM-Cares fund. It is noteworthy that recently companies, industrialists and common people of various sectors have contributed to this fund .

A statement issued by the company on the matter said, In this regard, our promoter Radhakrishna Damani through his group company Bright Star Investment Pvt Ltd contributed Rs 100 crore to the PM Cares Fund. Apart from this, Rs 55 crore has been contributed to various states relief fund.
