The 15th edition of the world’s second-largest auto show ‘Auto Expo 2020’ has begun with a media event in Greater Noida on Wednesday morning. After this two-day event, the expo will open for the general public. During this period, the country’s largest company Maruti-Suzuki had its first electric-car Futuro-e on the theme of ‘Mission Green Million’, while Tata introduced its Sierra EV concept SUV.

Tata’s Sierra returned after 20 years, this time like an electric vehicle
Tata has introduced its 20-year-old popular Sierra brand to Ratan Tata as a concept electric vehicle with Tribute. It will not have four but only three doors. The company management claims that it an electric car being developed completely according to the Indian market. Looking at its first look, it is understood that it is inspired by Land Rover Defender. The look is bulky and muscular along with the headlight and the rest of the exquisite slick. The company first launched Sierra in 1991 and stopped production in 2000.
Tata Motors showed strength with the Gravita
Tata Motors has shown the most strength on the first day of the expo. However, Tata Motors has launched its flagship SUV Gravitas, 3-door SUV Sierra, truck model Prima, besides Tiago, Tiago, Tigor, Altroz Altroz, Nexon and Winger. Had a glimpse of the show saw the company’s highest focus on Gravitas and Sierra. Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekhar, who present on the occasion, said that in the next two years, Tata Motors will introduce four new products. Tata also showcases concept micro SUV HBX Hornbill
At the expo, crowds are gathering at the Tata Motors stall to see the company’s smallest SUV. It named HBX Hornbill. It is currently a concept micro SUV and the company is trying to make it more advanced and safe. However, It looks highly interactive and it said that it will compete with Suzuki’s Espresso and Mahindra‘s KUV100.
