The two major tech companies of America, Google, and Microsoft earned the same amount of profit in October-December. In the previous quarter, Apple posted a record profit of Rs 1.58 lakh crore. This is the largest ever profit by an American company. Microsoft’s profit in the previous quarter was Rs 82,890 crore and Google’s Rs 75,641 crore. Apple’s profits are 13 and a half times that of India’s largest company Reliance Industries. Reliance reported a profit of Rs 11,640 crore in the December quarter.

Apple’s profits 7 times compared to Amazon
America’s largest e-commerce company, Amazon, had declared a profit of Rs 23,430 crore in the previous quarter. In comparison, Apple’s profit is about 7 times. Apple benefited from rising sales of flagship product iPhone in the December quarter. iPhone accounted for 61% of Apple’s revenue. iPhone sales increased for the first time in the last five quarters. iPhone revenue growth was 8%.
