Recovering from rising tension in the US-Iran, the stock market today witnessed a strong recovery. Investors made a strong buying at the lower level and the market recovered from yesterday’s decline at a gain of 400 points. Because of tensions in the Gulf countries, investors had drowned nearly Rs 3 lakh crore in the market on Monday, but because of the fierce shopping that took place today, the market came in the green mark. The Sensex touched a high of 41,230.14 in early trade.
The purchase increased at a lower level
The market saw a boom because of buying at lower levels in the market and the rise in the shares of oil companies. At 9.50 in the morning, the Sensex was trading up by 496 points at 41,172. 27 of the 30 stocks were trading in the green zone. During the business, it had reached the level of 41230. IndusInd Bank, SBI and Tata Steel are the top gainers and Tech Mahindra, TCS and HCL are the top losers.
The Nifty was trading at 12,141, gaining about 147 points. 50 of the 46 stocks were trading at a rapid pace. Vedanta, ZEEL and IndusInd Bank are the top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, HCL and Wipro are the top losers.
How was the market on Monday
The tension between the US and Iran hit the market on Monday, because of which the BSE Sensex lost 787.98 points (1.90%) to close at 40,676.63. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty fell 233.60 points (1.91%) to close at 11,993.05. The Sensex had touched an upper level of 41,378.34 and a low of 40,613.96 in day trading. The Nifty touched a high of 12,179.10 and a low of 11,974.20.
