The Kamal Nath government of Madhya Pradesh has taken a unique initiative. Under this, the country’s first ‘Time Bank’ will be opened in Madhya Pradesh. In this time bank, you will give any voluntary service as per your wish and instead you will be credited the same number of hours in your account, which you will avail for any such service.
Kamal Nath government going to open India’s first ‘time bank’
The spirituality department of the state government has issued an order regarding this on Friday. Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Shrivastava said that they have instructed all district collectors and administrators of Rajya Anand Sansthan to start the process.
Actually, the aim of this scheme is to increase the serviceability of people towards each other. The number of hours a person helps they will credit a need to his account. When the same person will ever need help, with the help of these accumulated hours, he will take the help of someone in the time bank network. Suppose you take care of an elderly person or teach poor children, then a few hours will be deposited in your account instead.
A bank will open in every district, this will be a transaction
Officials said that while they will open time banks in every district, there will be no limit to their number. A district may also have over a one-time bank. Manoj Shrivastava said, ‘It will bring the needy and caring people on a platform. They need anytime someone in the bank network, someone will help him and instead, he will have hours credited to his account. Later, someone will help that person instead of these hours. It is unnecessary to help the needy person only, which he has helped. It can be anyone. ‘
