Banks will be closed for so many days in April

PM Modi has done a lockdown of 21 days to prevent the infection of Coronavirus in the country. The same, due to the spread of coronavirus, lockdown is going on throughout the country. Despite this, the banks are open. Although banks are running with less staff, but to ensure social distance, banks have taken many steps. Under this, the working hours of banks have been reduced.

During this time it is important for you to know that banks will be closed for nine days in April due to different banking holidays in different parts of the country. Apart from these holidays, there is no work in banks on every second and fourth Saturday. In such a situation, if we mix Saturday and Sunday also, it means that there will be 15 days holiday in banks in different parts of the country.

Lockdown may lead to global recession, India’s growth rate may fall to 30-year low

According to the RBI website regarding this matter, banks will not be functioning in April 2020 due to festivals like Ram Navami, Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Bihu, Tamil New Year. Banking activities such as depositing money at bank’s closure, updating passbook, check clearance are included.
