Just how much money does Tiger’s movies make?

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Yet another release, yet another century for Tiger Shroff.

One of Bollywood’s youngest stars enjoys a loyal fan following since his dream debut Heropanti.

He followed it up with blockbusters like the Baaghi series and War.

Joginder Tuteja looks at just how much money Tiger’s films have made so far.

Baaghi 3
Box office collections: Rs 125 crore (expected)

Baaghi 3 has found an audience despite the coronavirus pandemic.

It is especially doing well in single screen theatre and in the interiors.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film has already entered the Rs 100 crore club and will cover some distance post that milestone.

War
Box office collections: Rs 318 crore

War was dhamakedaar for the actor as it scored a triple century.

With Hrithik Roshan and Tiger sharing the frame, the film was red hot right from the time it was announced.

Tiger made his presence felt in the film, and how.

Student of the Year 2
Box office collections: Rs 73 crore

The second installment wasn’t received as warmly as Student of the Year , but it went past the lifetime score (Rs 70 crore) of the Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt-Sidharth Malhotra starrer.

Tiger played a vulnerable college student, something that did not go down well with his fans after his heroic act in Baaghi 2 before that.

Baaghi 2
Box office collectionS: Rs 166 crore

With two back-to-back under-performers behind him (Munna Michael and A Flying Jatt), Tiger bounced right back with Baaghi 2.

The film took a record start and went way past the Rs 150 crore mark.

Munna Michael
Box office collectionS: Rs 32.90 crore

A dance film with a good dose of action, Munna Michael is Tiger’s least watched film till date.

Despite Nawazuddin Siddiqui putting in an appearance as a large-hearted antagonist, there weren’t many takers for Munna Michael.

It neither took a start nor found any standing in any medium post that.

A Flying Jatt
Box office collectionS: Rs 40 crore

Tiger played a desi superhero in Remo D’Souza’s action fantasy.

It could not cover the distance theatrically, but did quite well on the satellite circuit, which helped in building up a huge fan base among children.

Baaghi
Box office collections: Rs 77 crore

Baaghi helped the young actor get his big-ticket audiences.

After Heropanti, Tiger went up a few notches up, as Baaghi ended up doing almost 50 percent more business than his debut.

This time, the action was of a different level, and it became a superhit.

Heropanti
Box office collections: Rs 53 crore

Tiger made a ‘heroic’ start with Heropanti, an action musical love story.

His father Jackie Shroff had shot to fame with Hero, so it was only apt that Tiger would start his career with Heropanti.

It began well at the box office, stayed good and ended up a comfortable hit.
