As the counting of votes is underway for Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections, here are how the political bigwigs fared.



Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis is leading from his constituency, Nagpur (South West).

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar is leading in Karnal.

Shiv Sena’s Aaditya Thackeray is leading from Worli assembly constituency where he is making his electoral debut. The 29-year-old Thackeray scion is pitted against NCP’s Suresh Mane.

Wrestler Babita Phogat, who is contesting the Haryana assembly polls on BJP’s ticket, leading in Charkhi Dadri.

In this sister vs brother battle, Bharatiya Janata Party veteran late Gopinath Munde’s daughter Pankaja Munde is trailing against Dhananjay Munde in Parli assembly seat in Beed district.

Wrestler-turned-politician Yogeshwar Dutt is leading in Baroda, Haryana.

Former Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar is leading from Baramati.

Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala is leading from Kaithal.
