BJP general secretary Ram Madhav said on Monday that our party welcomes the idea that India should join with more countries, taking care of its interests. It also stated that there are ambitious goals of a business partnership between India and America. But one thing that America needs to understand is that we are not a dumping market. The government wants India to emerge as a trading hub, advancing the domestic market and foreign direct investment (FDI).
Addressing the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) in New Delhi, Madhav said defense, communications, energy, and healthcare are key sectors. Today we have the best minds to deal with business partnerships. China is a close neighbor of India and we need to see a growing partnership beyond global and regional pressures.
China-India relationship better than the US: Madhav
Madhav said, “The way both India and China are we also need to be competitive and use resources in every way in the region.” I would like to state that today China-India relations are much better than US-India relations. ”
Former US foreign minister warns India
Former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who was present at the event, took a dig at Madhav’s statement. He said, “China is playing guerrilla war with India. Everyone is watching it, but India still wants to join them. Today, India needs to engage with the private sector for development in all areas. They need to see how the American economy used public-private partnerships (PPPs). Simultaneously developed and strengthened the development infrastructure. India is trying to do a lot with its economy, but there are also many challenges because of the low rating given to it by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). “
