On Saturday, PM Narendra Modi said that with the ability, talent, intelligence and entrepreneurship present in India, country is ready to move fast on the new path of progress. In a letter to the Chamber of Indian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises on International MSME Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that to make the country self-reliant, global scale industries will be formed in India, a strong supply chain will be built, Large-scale employment will be created. He said that in such a scenario, the role of organizations like CIMSME becomes more important.

In a letter addressed to Mukesh Mohan Gupta, President of the Chamber of Indian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (CIMSME), PM Modi has said that MSME sector plays a very important role in the economic development of the country. Millions of sector units play the role of economic engine of the country. We trust our MSMEs and startups very much. We are constantly working to make this sector more dynamic and attractive. He counted the decision to make MSME’s definition more comprehensive or to arrange for special funds, IBC decisions or minor mistakes to be made a crime category and speed up investment.

PM Narendra Modi said that in the last 6 years, we have given a more professional and process based system. He said that policies have been formulated during the last 6 years keeping in mind the goal of making the country self-reliant. The Corona crisis has taught us how it can be given more momentum. Now 130 crore people have pledged to use this disaster as an opportunity to make India self-reliant.
