CNG: Natural gas prices fall, know new rate

The price of CNG and piped cooking gas was cut on Friday due to the decrease in the prices of natural gas amid the Corona crisis in India. It has become cheaper by 7 percent since Friday. CNG and PNG retailer Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) in the national capital and regions of Asapas said that the price of CNG in Delhi has now come down by Rs 3.20 to Rs 42 per kg.

For your information, let us tell you that in the areas around Delhi like Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the price of CNG was reduced by Rs 3.60 per kg and now it has been reduced to Rs 47.75 per kg. In a statement, IGL has said that it has cut the price of domestic piped natural gas i.e. PNG by Rs 1.55 per standard cubic meters (scm) and in Delhi it is now priced at Rs 28.55 per scm.

Apart from this, PNG prices in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad have been cut by Rs 1.65 and now it has been reduced to Rs 28.45 per standard cubic meters (scm). PNG prices have been cut for the second time in six months. CNG prices were cut by Rs 1.90 per kg on 2 October 2019 in Delhi, while in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, there was a relief of Rs 2.15 per kg.
