Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman assured YES Bank account holders that their money will not be lost.
According to PTI, on Friday, Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Reserve Bank and the government are looking into the issue of Yes Bank in detail, we have adopted the path which will be in everyone’s interest. The Reserve Bank has assured me that there will be no loss to any customer of Yes Bank. I want to assure you that every depositor of Yes Bank is safe. I am in constant touch with the Reserve Bank. The Reserve Bank as a regulator is working towards a speedy resolution of the Yes Bank issue. We have taken steps that have been taken in the interest of depositors, banks and the economy.
