On Tuesday, the second trading day of the week, the stock market again witnessed a tremendous decline. The Bombay Stock Exchange‘s flagship index Sensex closed 810.98 points, or 2.58 percent, down at 30,579.09 after a day’s volatility. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 8,966.70, after losing 230.70 points, or 2.51 percent. The Nifty has reached below 9,000 for the first time since March 2017.
