The actor underwent surgery on his right hand, which had been injured while executing a stunt on a dance reality show.
But right after he was discharged from hospital, he headed to a press conference for IIFA, and addressed the media with his usual charm.
‘Is saal hamaare ghar padhaar rahi hai @iifa ki mandli,’ Kartik, who hails from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, posts on Instagram.
