The coronavirus is spreading all over the world and its spreading so fast.
It has killed over 3000 people and infected more than 90,000 worldwide.
As on March 5, a total of 30 positive cases have been reported in India.
The World Health Organisation has already declared a global health emergency over the deadly virus which is also known as COVID-19.
The coronavirus outbreak hit China in late December and January when China alerted the WHO to several cases of unusual pneumonia in Wuhan, a port city in Central Hubei Province.
On January 7th, 2020 officials identified they had identified a new virus and it was named as 2019-nCoV and was identified as belonging to the cor0na virus which included SARS and the common cold.
How does it spread?
Coronavirus spread through being in proximity to an infected person and inhaling droplets generated when they cough or sneeze, or touching a surface where these droplets land and then touching one’s face or nose.
In China, over 80,400 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed till March 5, 2020.

The size of the circle shows the number of confirmed cases of corona and the colour shows the intensity of the outbreak.
In China, the highly affected area is Hubei with 67,466 confirmed cases of corona and total 2,902 deaths, including 2,305 fatalities in Wuhan.
The global outbreak
By the end of Wednesday, March 4, 2020, there have been 12,600 confirmed cases of the coronavirus outside China, with over 214 deaths, statistics from the World Health Organisation showed.
Outside of China there are 7169 cases of corona virus are confirmed and it is spread over 58 countries all over the world.
Many countries including United States have been affected by the virus which had led to economic slowdown in the country.

The size of the circle shows the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus and the color shows the way it got transmitted to that country.
Local transmission indicates locations where the source of infection is within the reporting location.
Imported cases only indicate locations where all cases have been acquired outside the location of reporting.
Under investigation indicates locations where interruption of transmission has not been determined for any cases.
AS of March 5, South Korea confirmed 438 more cases of COVID-19, raising the total number of infections to 5,766, according to Yonhap News Agency.
Japan confirmed over 1,037 coronavirus cases, and so far 12 people have died due to the infection.
Italy reported a total of 107 deaths of the deadly coronavirus, taking the total number to 3,089.
In Iran, the deadly infection claimed 92 lives out of more than 2,922 cases.
The US’ death toll from the COVID-19 rose to 11 on Thursday and nationwide there are nearly 160 confirmed cases.
France said that 21 new cases of COVID-19 had been identified with a total of 285 cases now diagnosed, of which 12 were cured and four have died.
How to prevent from corona infection
Standard recommendations by the WHO are regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs.
Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
