India’s leading airline company Air India has expressed the fear that it may incur a loss of Rs 30-35 crores daily while domestic flights are suspended. Regarding the operation, the company said that the cost burden of our fuel, ground handling, airport charges have been reduced due to the suspension of flights. But we still have to pay salaries, allowances, minimum maintenance and interest.

The daily income of Air India is 60 to 65 crores. 90 per cent of this is from the income from passengers. Air India has to pay about 250 crore rupees every month as salary while the company pays about thirty million dollars per month on the fares of the planes. Apart from this, the company has to pay Rs 225 crore every month on payment of interest etc.
