According to this, by 2027 India’s population will be more than China. At present, India’s population is 1.36 billion and China is 1.42 billion. It has been suggested in the report that till 2050, India will reach the top with 164 million population.
The report says that by the end of the 21st century the world’s population will reach the highest of almost 11 billion. By 2050, half the population of the world’s population will be in only 9 countries. These include India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Congo, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Indonesia, Egypt and America. These countries have been kept in decreasing order of potential population growth.
World population will be at peak till the end of the century
According to UN study, the world population is likely to grow by around 2 billion in the next 30 years to 9.7 billion. At present, the world’s population is 7.7 billion. By the end of the century, the population would be around 10.9 billion at its peak.
World population grew threefold in the last 69 years
United Nations Department director John Wilmoth said in a press conference on Monday that the latest study found that the world’s population is growing rapidly. In the last 69 years the world population has increased threefold. John said that aside from the report, we estimate that by 2050, the world’s population could be 10.1 billion and by the end of 2021, it could be 12.7 billion.
By the end of the century, 5 countries with the highest population
