Mardaani 2 on way to becoming a hit

Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 2 is on its way to become a hit. This slow starter picked up well over the weekend.

Emraan Hashmi’s Body suffered due to lack of promotion and remained poor over the first weekend. It will find it hard to sustain through the rest of the week.

Pati Patni Aur Woh

What works: Good performances.
What doesn’t: Too much melodrama in the climax.

Hotel Mumbai

What works: Riveting.
What doesn’t: It’s a gripping depiction but it could have been a lot more.

Yeh Saali Aashiqui

Director: Cherag Ruparel.
What works: Many twists and turns in the plot.
What doesn’t: Too many loopholes in the script.

What doesn’t: Very low standard of comedy.
