Today, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 80.43 per liter. Talking about the price of diesel, then Rs 73.56 per liter is going on. The price of petrol and diesel changes at 6 am every day. The new rates are applicable from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the rates of petrol and diesel, its rate almost becomes double. Along with the foreign exchange rates, the prices of petrol and diesel changes every day depending on what the prices of crude are in the international market. On the basis of these standards, oil companies do the work of fixing the petrol price and diesel price daily and at the same time, the dealers are the people running the petrol pump. They save petrol after adding taxes and their own margins to the last of consumers at retail prices.
