A Jodhpur court has allegedly indicted Salman Khan in the 1998 dark buck poaching case, while the others included, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari have been absolved. According to most recent reports, Salman has been indicted under area 9 and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act which has a prison term of least 1 year and greatest 6 years. Evidently, if the court articulates a jail sentence of over three years, he should approach a higher court for safeguard. In any case, if the sentence is under 3 years, he can apply for safeguard in a similar court.
In 1998, Salman was blamed for murdering two dark bucks in Bhagoda ki Dhani in Kankani town close Jodhpur while shooting for Hum Saath Hain. Stay tuned to Khabribaba.com for more updates.
